***NOT AVAILABLE YET*** This is a training course for people who intend to start a ministry with People with Disabilities (PWDs) in their church. In this course, Pastor Adoniran Melo shares his knowledge and experience from over 20 years of work in the area of inclusion and accessibility in churches. The course presents biblically and bibliographically grounded lessons on the topic and teaches how to develop a strategic project to start a ministry with PWDs in the church. It also provides instructions for implementing the project and dealing with the main challenges of this ministry. Adoniran Melo is married to Carla Melo and father of Ian and Lívia. He is a pastor and manager of the special ministry areas of the First Baptist Church of Curitiba. He was president of the National Evangelical Association of Workers with the Deaf (ASSENOS); founder of the first Literacy Program for Vulnerable Children in Mozambique; a partner in Brazil with Joni and Friends; Coordinator of retreats for people with disabilities and their families, as well as of Joni's House Brazil. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology and has been a preacher and speaker for over 20 years, specializing in inclusion and accessibility in churches in Brazil and Portuguese-speaking countries. Objective To contribute to the implementation of ministry with people with disabilities in churches, training people who wish to work or already work with this population. Target Audience People who wish to learn about or start a ministry with people with disabilities in their local church, with or without experience in the field. Ministry with People with Disabilities - Leadership Training Course is an online course in which students will have access to dynamic and objective video lessons. There are over 40 lectures, combining theory, experience reports, case studies, and instructions for developing a strategic project. The activities proposed throughout the course include reflection questions that encourage students to analyze topics related to the topic.
