The Course
The Qualicare Institute develops a professional training program with social impact, offering 40 full scholarships to people in vulnerable situations, aiming at income generation, personal development, and training to serve vulnerable communities in the region of the city of Colombo, Paraná. The project lasts 10 months.
The initiative has a partnership with the Social Assistance Secretariat of Colombo. The Qualicare Institute is responsible for selecting the beneficiaries with funding from the Ministry of Social Development of Brazil.
Pedagogical Structure
The course will be organized into two sequential classes, each with approximately 20 scholarship recipients and up to 10 auditing students. The methodology combines:

Classes recorded in a professional studio;

In-person meetings on Saturdays;

Technical visits (2 per class);

Group work and evaluations;
The in-person meetings will take place at the Qualicare Institute headquarters and/or at the Public Management School of Colombo.

MODULE I

Ergonomics and biosafety applied to health (6h)

Basic vital sign monitoring in the elderly: blood pressure, peripheral pulse, temperature, respiratory rate (6h)

GRADUATION
At the end of the course, the student will receive a certificate for the Practical Course in Caregiving for the Elderly.
