Consciencia Rosa
The PINK CONSCIENCE Project is part of a set of actions developed by INSTITUTO QUALICARE — a non-profit, non-governmental organization that develops its projects seeking to meet the social needs of the community.
In the PINK CONSCIENCE Project, we aim to inform about women's health and well-being needs, as well as train multiplier leaders who can take these actions to various locations.
How we do it
Through informative lectures — held at events organized by the Qualicare Institute or in partnership with other organizations — to encourage women to develop their skills and potential.
Mission
Promote strategic actions to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and control. Support and facilitate projects focused on women's collaboration that benefit women's groups.
Vision
To contribute significantly to increasing the integration of women's groups, empowering women through information as leaders who multiply the actions of the Pink Consciousness Project in various locations.
Values
To fulfill our mission and vision, the Pink Consciousness project is based on the following values:
Union: We propose to act in partnership with the most varied organizations and institutions, with the aim that together we can do more and better for the benefit of the female public.
Cooperation: We aim to serve women by providing them with information on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, in order to promote cooperation between different women's groups and benefit the largest number of communities.
Through the Manifesto Pela Vida movement, the Qualicare Institute conducts breast and prostate cancer awareness and prevention activities. At these events, our team distributes brochures with information about these diseases and how to prevent them.
At one of the companies that supports the Manifesto for Life, there was a considerable increase in preventive exams among its employees, following the awareness-raising initiative carried out at its establishment.
In addition to the material that is distributed, our team has t-shirts for sale on site and the funds raised are allocated to projects of the Qualicare Institute and also to the Erasto Gaertner Hospital, a reference center for cancer treatment.
